The Laboratory of Industrial Systems and Mechatronics Applications was founded in 2019 (Official Government Gazette: 2905/B'/2019), as a research facility of the Industrial Design and Production Engineeering Department of the School of Engineering at the University of West Attica.

Our Team
As appointed members, the ISMA Lab includes UniWA academic personnel (faculty members and laboratory teaching staff), post-doctoral and doctoral researchers, as well as postgraduate and undergraduate students. Additionally the ISMA Lab team involves associates from other research labs and qualified support personnel.
The Director of ISMA Lab, Dr. Michail Papoutsidakis, is Professor at the Department of Industrial Design and Production Engineering of the School of Engineering of the University of West Attica.
